On Sundays
St John’s Beecroft has Sunday meetings for all ages. At each meeting we read from the Bible, pray together, sing together and hear the Bible preached. We would love to have you join us! Please contact us if you have any questions about our meetings.
8.00am Holy Communion
Traditional service held in our heritage listed church building.
9.45am Morning Worship
This is a family friendly service, held in the church building, and is followed by morning tea. A number of activities coincide with the morning worship during school term:
- Creche is provided for 0-4 years while parents worship. Held in the creche room.
- Junior Sunday School (4 years old-Year 2) is held in the small hall. Bible stories, craft, games and other fun activities to help children grow in their knowledge of God, what He has done for us and how he wants us to live. Click here for What’s Happening Term 1 2012
- Senior Sunday School (years 3-6) is held in the big hall. Children enjoy bible teaching, games, creative dramas and songs to help them come to understand God’s love and how He wants us to live.
- SMOG (Sunday Morning Older Group) is for years 7-9 and involves relevant bible studies, discussions, fellowship and games for young teenagers. It is held across the road at Arden School on Beecroft Road.
7.15pm Evening Worship
This is a contemporary worship service oriented towards youth – but with attendees of all ages. It is held in the church building and is followed by supper.
St Peter’s Anglican Church
At 9.30am our sister church St Peter’s meets for a morning service. This is a friendly service using traditional forms in a pleasant setting. Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month and is followed by morning tea. St Peter’s is on the corner of Murray Farm and Orchard Roads, Beecroft.
